Anthropic Signs $45 Billion Infrastructure Deal with Nscale to Expand Supercomputing

AI startup Anthropic has continued its aggressive compute expansion by entering into a multi-year $45 billion infrastructure agreement with specialized cloud provider Nscale. The deal guarantees Anthropic dedicated access to next-generation gigawatt-scale data center capacity optimized for training multi-trillion parameter artificial intelligence models.

Nscale's custom-built compute campuses feature direct-to-chip liquid cooling and dedicated renewable energy microgrids, addressing both thermal and electrical constraints that have hindered legacy data centers. Anthropic will use the capacity to train next-generation Claude models and expand real-time enterprise API availability.
