According to Framework engineering team, the issue stems from an unexpected timing conflict within the EC (Embedded Controller) flash memory region during post-update restart sequences. Affected laptops fail to pass POST validation, presenting blank screens and cycling power LEDs.

Framework has temporarily suspended deployment of update 3.05, released an offline RTC battery reset protocol, and offered free replacement mainboards for customers unable to recover their systems through manual hardware resets.
