To install or upgrade, open the product or API surface where you choose a Gemini model and replace your current model selection with one of Gemini 3.6 Flash, Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite, or Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber. Save or deploy that configuration, then restart or redeploy any service, worker, or app that caches the old model name so the new selection is used end to end.

Watch for places that still hard-code an older Gemini model name, including config files, environment variables, and client defaults. Verify by sending a test request after the change and confirming the response is produced with the model you selected among Gemini 3.6 Flash, Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite, and Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber.
