If the value depends on portable ownership, public verifiability, or programmable settlement that no single operator should control, the stack may be justified.
Then pressure-test the path to users: onboarding, fees under load, custody and recovery, legal constraints in your markets, and a plan for upgrades when protocols or standards change. Web3 is closer to mainstream readiness than in its speculative peak years because the conversation has moved toward utility and product quality—but “ready” still means shipping something people use without needing to understand the underlying ledger.
