To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the revolutionary 3D first-person shooter *Quake*, MachineGames and id Software have released a surprise official expansion pack available for free to all owners of the remastered edition. The mission pack introduces 19 meticulously crafted campaign levels that expand the dark fantasy lore of the original game. The expansion incorporates modern level design techniques while preserving the classic KEX engine aesthetic, adding dynamic light sources, vertical arenas, and novel environmental puzzles. Dedicated multiplayer maps have also been added to the official rotation.
