Motorola Partners with GrapheneOS to Launch Hardened Privacy Smartphones in 2027

Motorola has announced a landmark collaboration with the GrapheneOS developer team to launch factory-built security-hardened Android smartphones set for release in early 2027.

Unlike traditional consumer devices, the phones will ship pre-installed with GrapheneOS, featuring sandboxed Google Play services, memory tagging extensions, and physical hardware kill switches for the microphone and cameras.

Targeted at journalists, security researchers, and privacy-conscious executives, the devices will carry premium price tags positioning them above flagship Google Pixels.
