Hardware vendors including Dell, HPE, and Supermicro have implemented price increases of 15% or higher across enterprise AI server lines due to unprecedented cost spikes in High-Bandwidth Memory (HBM) modules.

Next-generation AI accelerators rely on ultra-dense HBM3e and HBM4 stacks integrated on silicon interposers. However, yield challenges and limited advanced packaging capacity at major memory fabrication foundries have created severe global supply shortages.
