Anthropic Secures $45 Billion Supercomputing Compute Deal With Nscale

AI safety and research laboratory Anthropic has finalized a colossal $45 billion compute reservation agreement with specialized GPU cloud provider Nscale. The deal guarantees Anthropic access to multi-gigawatt data center capacity over the next five years to train and serve frontier Claude 4.5 and Claude 5 model architectures.

Anthropic has continued its aggressive infrastructure expansion by entering into a $45 billion multi-year supercomputing agreement with Nscale, a leading specialized AI cloud host. The partnership secures dedicated access to next-generation GPU clusters powered by liquid-cooled data centers across Europe and North America.

The compute capacity will be allocated to training Anthropic's upcoming frontier model families, as well as powering enterprise inference API workloads for Claude Code and automated agent platforms. Nscale's infrastructure offers custom optical interconnects optimized for large-scale distributed transformer training.
