Apple Unveils Mac Studio with M5 Ultra and Mac Mini with M6 Next-Gen Silicon

Apple has updated its desktop desktop lineup with M5 Ultra and M6 processors designed to accelerate complex machine learning models on-device.

Apple today announced a major refresh of its desktop workstation lineup, introducing the new Mac Studio powered by the M5 Ultra chip alongside a redesign of the Mac mini featuring the next-generation M6 processor.

The M5 Ultra combines two M5 Max dies through UltraFusion interconnect tech, delivering up to 32 CPU cores and 80 GPU cores with unified memory bandwidth reaching 1.6 TB/s.

Meanwhile, the entry-level Mac mini with M6 introduces Apple's 2nm architectural node, delivering 35% higher single-thread throughput while remaining extremely energy efficient.
