How to Install / Upgrade: Elon Musk’s attempt at an AI Wikipedia hasn’t been updated in months

Grokipedia is xAI’s online encyclopedia of AI-generated articles. Elon Musk once called it a massive improvement over Wikipedia. A Lawfare report, covered by The Verge, finds it has not been updated since April 24th. Lawfare said no entry has changed in more than three months. The product remains at the v0.1 launch state.

There is no new release or upgrade path described in the report. If you already use Grokipedia, keep using the existing v0.1 site as published. If you are starting now, open the live Grokipedia encyclopedia and work from the articles already there. Do not expect a package install, version bump, or content refresh based on this reporting alone.

Treat the catalog as frozen until an official update is announced. Before you rely on any entry, open it and check whether its content matches what you need, because Lawfare found no entry changes for more than three months and none since April 24th. Verify claims against primary sources when accuracy matters. If you were waiting on v0.1 to move forward, plan on the current state until xAI ships something new.
