European EV startup Liux has unveiled its latest production prototype microcar, designed specifically to reduce urban carbon footprints through eco-conscious materials and modular battery architectures.

The vehicle's body panels and interior structural frames are manufactured using plant-derived biopolymers and linen-fiber composites, cutting body manufacturing carbon emissions by over 70% compared to traditional stamped steel.

Featuring removable modular battery packs that can be swapped or charged individually at standard home outlets, the Liux microcar targets urban commuters seeking affordable, sustainable mobility options under €15,000.

Pre-orders opened across selected European markets, with initial deliveries planned for early 2027 as the company expands its regional micro-factory assembly network.
