AWS Machine Learning Blog reports: NVIDIA Nemotron 3.5 Lightning now available in Amazon SageMaker JumpStart. NVIDIA Nemotron 3.5 Lightning, an open model built for high-volume agentic workloads, is now available in Amazon SageMaker JumpStart. This post shows how to deploy the 30B Mixture-of-Experts model (3B active), which delivers up to 4x higher throughput and up to 30% faster task completion for always-on agents.
Developer Action Items
- ☐ Diff the official changelog for Amazon / AWS / Nvidia 3.5 before you bump — APIs, defaults, and removed flags only.
- ☐ Install through the vendor's documented channel in staging; keep a one-command rollback and time-box the canary.
- ☐ Grep your repo for old flag names, lockfile pins, and plugin versions that the notes mark as breaking.
- ☐ Prefer the first patch cut over the day-zero tag unless you have a reason to be on the leading edge.
- ☐ If AWS Machine Learning Blog did not name a region, plan, or SKU, screenshot the official availability line before you promise it to users.
