Open-source hardware developer Pinea Pi has unveiled its latest single-board computer targeting privacy-conscious developers and hobbyists.

The Pinea Pi incorporates a RISC-V application processor paired with a 32 TOPS neural processing unit capable of running quantised 8B parameter LLMs offline.

With an estimated retail price of under $150, the board aims to make localized agentic AI accessible for smart automation and robotics projects.
