XPeng Robotics, the autonomous robotics division of Chinese electric vehicle maker XPeng, has completed a massive $900 million Series B funding round, pushing its market valuation beyond $6.3 billion. The round was led by major international sovereign funds and automotive supply chain conglomerates.
The capital injection will fund mass production of XPeng's bipedal humanoid robot, designed specifically to automate intricate assembly tasks, quality inspection, and heavy material handling inside smart EV manufacturing plants.
